Sultanas, Currants and Raisins are types of dried grapes. Sultanas are large, often seedless and a wrinkled yellow. Originally, sultanas were seeded but Thompson Seedless grapes transformed sultanas to a seedless type. Sultanas are used for snacking and in mueslis, but are mainly used in baking, either on their own or mixed in with the other types of dried grape.
