Pot Barley

Pot Barley or Scotch Barley are preparations of barley from Scotland. Scotch Barley, the cheapest type, is unground barley grains, with the bran intact. Pot barley has some of the bran removed. Pot barley is nutritious and nutty in flavour. Pot barley is found in whole food stores.

When the whole bran has been removed, this is pearl barley.
