Pomegranate Molasses is a deep brown, sweet and sour syrup made from pomegranate juice which has been boiled down to give a more concentrated flavour. Pomegranate molasses' flavour is more concentrated than grenadine.
Pomegranate molasses is especially good with fish, whether baked or grilled. Pomegranate molasses is also delicious in salad dressings and savoury dishes including marinades for meat, chicken, swordfish and tuna. Also delightful in desserts and dilute to create cordials and sorbets.
For extra delight, combine pomegranate molasses with pomegranate seeds for a mix of flavours and texture, with the added crunch from the seeds.
