Pearl Barley

Pearl Barley is the version of barley that you can most easily find. Pearl barley is barley, husked, steamed and then polished.

Pearl barley is great for thickening soups and stews, plus it reduces the fattiness of fatty liquids making it all much more digestible.

Pearl barley lasts for a long time. Store pearl barley somewhere dry, dark and cool, and free from potential insect contamination.
