Mandarin or Tangerine is a smaller orange, with a loose skin that is easy to remove. Mandarins (or tangerines) are available fresh or canned, and can be eaten on their own or used in fruit salads. Mandarins are sometimes candied and glazed, or use to make liqueurs.
