Holy Basil

Holy Basil, Tulasi (sometimes Tulsi) or Bai Gaprow, is an essential ingredient of Thai stir-fried chicken and other Thai meat curries.

Holy basil is strongly aromatic - musky, camphorous and slightly minty. Holy basil's taste is pungent, minty and slightly bitter.

Tip: if no holy basil available, use European basil with some spearmint.
