Dried Apples are usually from key varieties like Baldwin, Delicious, Jonathan, King and Winesap. Dried apples attract moisture, so have quite a short shelf life versus the other dried fruits. Many dried fruits are sulphured to keep their colour from browning. Try and avoid these sulphured dried apples. Dried apples come in rings or cubed, usually. Dried apples can be eaten on their own as a snack or used in baking.
