Dandelion is a wild meadow plant. Dandelion's blanched leaves are used in salads. Dandelion is particularly popular in France and the South of the USA.

Use dandelion leaves in a salad, washed thoroughly, or cook like spinach, blanched or steamed. Eat dandelion before they have flowered because they become bitter thereafter.
