Cottage Cheese

Cottage Cheese is a popular American and British cheese. Cottage cheese has many variations. Cottage cheese is an unripened, low fat, skimmed milk product with a granular curd.

Cottage cheese is used in salads, sandwiches, often mixed with fruit especially pineapple or herbs like chives. Pressed into solid curd and cut into cubes, cottage cheese is eaten in India as matar paneer.
