Costa Rican Coffee is a mild-tasting Arabica coffee bean that is a perfectly balanced combination of aroma, acidity, body and flavour, so is the ideal starting point for coffee tasters or those new to self-drinker coffees. Local conditions of altitude, soil and climate, and excellent processing techniques make Costa Rican coffees superb medium coffees.
Costa Rican coffees can be purchased by district, or coast (Atlantic or Pacific), but for grading the best coffee is SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) which is grown at over 1,200 metres (3,900 feet).
