Chun Mee is an everyday Chinese green tea, sometimes called "Old Man's Eyebrows". Chun mee is made from young, medium-sized leaves, which roll neatly and thinly. Chun mee is the best of the old style Young Hyson tea, which are more astringent in taste than gunpowder tea.
Chun mee infuses to a clear, pale green liquor, and works well drunk with a little mint or spices like cardamom. Chun mee has a strong, pleasantly astringent taste with spicy notes and a hint of smoke.
