Chilli Sauce is usually a hot and fairly thick sauce, different from the thin liquid of Tabasco. Chilli sauce is made from pulped fresh chillis, then flavoured with garlic and vinegar, then perhaps sweetened with a little sugar and thickened with cornstarch. Chilli sauces are often eaten with Chinese food.
