Chicken Eggs are ubiquitous and used widely across all aspects of cooking. Chicken eggs are a core storecupboard ingredient. Chicken eggs are sold fresh, pickled, powdered and in liquid forms. They can be used on their own and as an ingredient in other recipes.

Bantam eggs are smaller eggs from particular bantam breeds of chicken. Bantam eggs come in a variety of colours and are often hard-boiled and served for picnics and salads.
