Cheddar cheese is now made all over the world but was originally a British cheese. Cheddar cheeses are usually large and cylindrical in shape, with a natural rind. Cheddar cheese is a very versaatile cooking cheese, because it does not draw threads. Cheddar cheese can be used in sauces, soufflés, salads and pizzas.
