Artificial Sweetener - Acelsulfame and Aspartame

Acelsulfame is an artificial sweetener made from amino acids. Acelsulfame is white and odourless, and 200 times sweeter than sugar. It is ideal for sweetening of soft drinks. Acelsulfame does not taste like sugar, with a hint of bitterness to some. Aspartame often comes in conjunction with other sweeteners, e.g. aspartame in brands like Canderel, because it is believed these mixes more closely resemble the taste of sugar.
